I recently got a Lenovo Legion 5 laptop, and I've been really excited to use it. However, I've been facing a frustrating issue where the laptop disconnects from Wi-Fi for about 10 seconds every 10 to 15 minutes. This problem only occurs with this new device; my other devices are connected without any issues. I've tried all sorts of troubleshooting steps including resetting my router, rebooting my laptop, uninstalling and reinstalling network drivers, adjusting power management settings, and even trying different Wi-Fi networks, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong?

Have you checked if you have Lenovo Vantage installed? This software sometimes has settings that can affect Wi-Fi connections. Try turning off the Wi-Fi auto-connect option in the utility tab. I had a similar issue with my Lenovo, and uninstalling and reinstalling Vantage solved my problem completely. It might be worth a shot!
It sounds like your issue might be related to your ISP's DNS settings. When I built my current PC, I had similar intermittent Wi-Fi trouble. I ended up changing my DNS settings, which significantly improved my connection. If you're interested, you can look into using a different DNS like Google's (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) and see if that helps resolve your connectivity issues. It worked wonders for my setup!
Thanks for the suggestion! I haven't changed my DNS settings before. Do you think this will affect my internet speed?
How far away are you from your router? If there are too many walls or floors in between, that could be causing the disconnections. Try moving closer to the router to see if the problem goes away. Also, check your wireless adapter settings; sometimes changing the mixed mode protection settings can help with connectivity issues.
I'm not super far from the router, but I never had issues with my old devices even in this spot. It seems like this laptop is the only one giving me trouble.

I didn't know about Vantage! I checked it, but there wasn't anything related to Wi-Fi settings. Maybe I need to reinstall it to see if that helps.
