I'm curious if my PC can manage 1440p at around 60-75 fps. I have a GTX 1650 GPU, an i5 10400f CPU, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. I don't really need it for intensive gaming since I have a PS5 that runs 1440p just fine, but I want to know if my PC is capable of it for casual use. Also, I've heard some debate about running 1080p on a 1440p monitor being worse than native 1080p—can anyone clarify that? If my setup can't handle the resolution, what's the best upgrade you'd recommend? My friend thinks anything below a 4070 is useless. Thanks for any insights!

You might get away with it for lighter games like Roblox, but don’t expect smooth performance for more demanding titles.
You're probably not going to get 60 fps at anything higher than medium settings with your current setup. In fact, for some games, you might have to drop down to low settings. Your setup doesn’t really stack up against the PS5 in terms of performance.
What's a good upgrade option then?
Sounds about right, you might hit 30 fps with low settings.

What about something like CS2?
