I recently got a warning about low disk space on my C Drive, and ever since, it keeps filling up on its own. Even after I deleted 50GB of files, I noticed the space was draining quickly again. I found some files in my Temp folder (C:WindowsTempTMP1B01A2EE278AFF9) that seem to be continuously writing data. I managed to clear up to 100GB in Safe Mode, but once I reboot into normal mode, the issue starts again. Could this be a virus or something else causing this problem?

Just a heads up, you might want to keep an eye on those background processes. Sometimes they just run unchecked. Killing unnecessary ones regularly is a good practice.
I understand the frustration! If you're working with Adobe products, they can generate a lot of temporary files. I've got a batch file that I run to kill those annoying processes that keep running. It helps to manage disk space a bit better.
Do you have any Adobe software on your computer? I had a similar issue where Adobe would eat up over 100GB for cache files. It's super frustrating! I had to change my settings to save those temp files to a different hard drive so my C Drive doesn't get clogged.
True, but you really should've switched the scratch files to a separate disk when you installed. Most creative software has that recommendation right from the get-go! It's not malware, just how programs handle temp files.

I don't have Adobe luckily, but after some time, I noticed it's stopped draining space, so clearing the Temp folder might have actually resolved it! Fingers crossed it stays that way.
