I'm considering getting an Elgato Stream Deck for my husband, who works in Cloud Systems Management. While I know it was originally designed for streamers, I've seen programmers use it to run terminal commands and scripts. I'm curious if anyone in a similar role has found it useful in their daily tasks, or if it's just a gimmick. Also, if you think it's a good idea, which size would be best—6, 15, or 32 keys? Absolutely! The Stream Deck is great for quick connections to servers and switching profiles in AWS or Azure. The 6-key model is likely the sweet spot for sysadmin tasks, unless he prefers something more extensive. If he's used to terminal shortcuts, it might not get much use though. It’s a nice gift idea regardless!
