Why is my iPhone’s battery draining faster only on home Wi-Fi?

Hi everyone! I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my iPhone's battery life. It seems to drain much faster when I'm connected to my home Wi-Fi network, even though I've turned off nearly every battery-draining feature I could think of. Here's the situation:

- The battery drains noticeably quicker only on my home Wi-Fi.
- Using mobile data, the battery drain is significantly lower.
- I often see a 1% drop in battery immediately after unlocking the phone while on Wi-Fi.
- This problem occurs even when the phone is just sitting idle.

To troubleshoot, I've already checked the following settings:
- Background App Refresh (off)
- Location Services (set to only while using or disabled for most apps)
- System Location Services (off)
- Bluetooth (off)
- AirDrop (off)
- Handoff (off)
- Minimized iCloud sync
- Push mail is disabled, and I fetch manually
- Low Power Mode is on most of the time
- Auto-brightness is enabled
- No VPN or hotspot is active
- No heavy apps running in the background

Regarding the Wi-Fi:
- This issue only happens on my home Wi-Fi, not as much on other networks.
- The signal strength is good.
- I still notice a higher battery drain compared to when using mobile data.

What I've tried so far:
- Restarted the phone multiple times
- Reset network settings
- Forgotten and re-added the Wi-Fi network
- Updated to the latest iOS version

My battery health is normal with no warnings.

At this point, I'm wondering:
- Is this a known iOS Wi-Fi issue?
- Are there any other hidden settings or diagnostics I should look into?

If anyone has experienced something similar or has insight on a fix, I would really appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance!

Check your battery usage stats in the Settings app. Are there any apps draining more power than expected? If you have a mesh Wi-Fi system, maybe try disconnecting some of the satellites or tweaking the channel settings on your router. No VPNs running, right?

Nope, nothing unusual on the battery usage, and I've got no VPNs. It seems to be just the phone acting up; my iPad Air handles Wi-Fi without any issues. Apple support ran diagnostics and said everything looked normal.

Have you noticed if your phone gets noticeably hotter when connected to Wi-Fi as opposed to when you're on mobile data? Sometimes excessive heat can indicate a battery issue.

Yeah, it occasionally gets really warm near the center of the phone.
