Hey everyone! I'm dealing with an annoying issue where my WiFi adapter keeps disconnecting at random times on Windows 11. Whenever I log in, I have to go to Device Manager to disable and then re-enable the adapter to get a stable connection. I've tried messing around with the power management settings, but that didn't help at all. Is there a way to fix this so I don't have to keep going into Device Manager every time I log in?

You should definitely check the drivers. Visit the website of your WiFi adapter's manufacturer and download the certified drivers for Windows 11. Uninstall the old drivers completely before you reinstall the new ones. A lot of the disconnect issues come from corrupted drivers or outdated software, so that might help you out.
Updating or reinstalling your WiFi driver can also do wonders! A lot of random disconnects come from outdated or buggy drivers on Windows 11, and a fresh install often clears that up. Give it a shot and see if it helps!
Make sure to check your power management settings in Device Manager too. Uncheck the option that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." If that doesn't solve it, try disabling USB selective suspend in your power plan settings. If it’s still giving you issues after, it’s likely a driver problem.
I had a similar problem not long ago. First off, it could be a defective WiFi adapter. My sister was dealing with the same issue, and after getting her a new external adapter, the problem went away completely! Might be worth checking out if you can try a different adapter.
