What Should I Do About My Damaged iTunes Gift Card?

I recently bought a $200 iTunes gift card from Woolworths here in Australia. When I opened the package, I found that half of the code was missing after peeling off the sticker. I reached out to customer support and sent them photos as proof. They mentioned that it could take up to 10 days to resolve the issue. When I contacted them again for an update, they asked me to be patient, which is frustrating because I have a payment due tomorrow. They also said that they never sell damaged cards, suggesting that it must have been damaged on my end, which makes no sense to me. I'm really annoyed and just want to find out what steps to take next since I need this payment sorted out. If it weren't for the deadline, I'd be more tolerant about the situation.

I’m curious about the payment you’re needing to make with an Apple gift card. Usually, Apple subscriptions have a grace period—like for Apple Music or iCloud, it’s around 30 days. But for third-party services, if your subscription lapses, you might end up losing access until you resubscribe.

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do except wait for Apple to process your report. Their support can't speed up the damaged card issue; they just send a link where you upload your info, and then it's up to the SSL team to look into it. If all goes well, the card amount should be credited to your Apple account automatically after the process is complete.
