I've been experiencing a frustrating issue with my desktop graphics card (Palit RTX 5070 Ti Slim). It randomly loses signal, and the fans spin at full speed. After a restart, everything goes back to normal, but this has happened twice in a month. The first time, the fans ramped up for about four seconds before the PC shut itself down. My setup includes a Ryzen 7 5700X3D, a B450 Gaming Plus Max motherboard, a Gigabyte 750W PSU (80 Plus Gold), and I'm running Windows 11. Any advice on what could be causing this?

It sounds like your graphics card might be overheating, which can cause the system to crash to prevent damage. I suggest monitoring the temperatures using Afterburner. Also, you should check the Event Viewer for any logs at the time of the issue. This could give you a clue about what's going wrong.
Have you checked the Event Viewer logs during the times this happened?
Make sure to have a more descriptive title next time since it helps pinpoint issues. Also, what specific operating system are you on?
I'm using Windows 11.
This has happened to me multiple times within an hour. After reseating my graphics card, I had issues with no image in BIOS and a red light on the motherboard above the graphics card. I might try tightening the power supply connections further.
You might be dealing with a GPU crash. The fans going full blast usually means it’s losing the signal. Check your driver updates, reseat the graphics card in its slot, and monitor the temps. If the problem persists, consider testing with a different power supply or graphics card to rule those out as potential issues.
I used DDU for drivers the day this happened, and it's still an issue. My BIOS is updated, but I wonder if the cable connections might be off.

The temperature does not exceed 40 degrees.
