Help Needed: Constant Internet Interruptions with Xfinity

I'm dealing with frequent internet interruptions while using a 1300mbps Xfinity Wifi plan. There are five of us in the household. We typically stream TV from one device and have moderate phone usage, with at most three users online, and only one device gaming at a time. We're using a Google mesh system integrated with our network, but I've also tried connecting directly to the original network without it, and the issues still persist. The connection seems more stable when the TV isn't streaming, but it still drops out every 10 seconds, with noticeable latency spikes. Xfinity already sent a new gateway, but they say everything is fine on their end and can't see any interruptions. As someone with limited networking knowledge, I'm looking for some guidance on how to resolve this issue.

Are you getting full speeds? Does the problem occur on every device? I’d be suspicious of a bad cable somewhere or maybe an outdated signal booster. Some boosters are only effective for a few years and can result in fewer network channels, causing congestion and a poor signal overall. If you’re experiencing issues on multiple devices or if your speeds are below what you’re paying for, I’d recommend pushing for a technician visit with Xfinity. Just a heads up: they often send a subcontractor the first time, but if the problem persists, they'll usually send a real Xfinity tech on a follow-up visit.

Yes, we're getting speeds above what’s advertised according to the Xfinity app. The issue happens on multiple devices, including the TV that’s right next to the gateway. We don't have any dedicated signal boosters besides the mesh system, and the problem still occurs even when the mesh is turned off.
