I've been gaming a lot recently, especially on Deadlock, but I've started experiencing a black screen and automatic restarts. Initially, I thought it was just a glitch with Deadlock since it's still in alpha, but it happened again while I was playing Overwatch. I'm trying to figure out what's going on.
I've monitored my CPU and GPU temperatures, and they remain normal. I also tried undervolting my GPU with MSI Afterburner, which seemed to extend playtime in Deadlock, but the crashes still happen (using the default settings when Overwatch crashed). I've also updated all my drivers.
Here are my specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
- Motherboard: ASRock B650M PG Riptide WiFi
- RAM: TEAMGROUP Inc. UD5-5200 x4 (48 GB total)
- Power supply: EVGA 700 BR
- Storage: 2 TB across 2 drives (one with 98 GB free and the other with 671 GB available)
After some investigation, it seems my power supply might not be able to handle my system, which could be causing these issues. For now, I'm limiting my GPU's power to 80% as a temporary fix, but I know I need to get a better power supply.

Have you tried checking the Event Viewer for error logs? That can help you figure out why your computer keeps restarting. It might provide some clues about hardware failures or driver issues. Let me know what you find!

Looks like those logs could be showing the crashes! Check this link out for what to look for in Event Viewer: https://example.com/logs-guide.
