How Can I Install Mint Without Disrupting My Current Bootloader?

I'm looking to install Linux Mint on a system that already has Windows 11 and CachyOS installed, using the Limine bootloader. My goal is to skip the GRUB installation during the Mint installation to avoid messing up my existing bootloader setup. After installing Mint, I plan to add it to the Limine bootloader through CachyOS. Any advice on how to do this?

Installing multiple distros can get tricky, especially with bootloaders involved. To skip GRUB during the Mint installation, you can choose 'Something Else' during the install process to manually select your partitions. Make sure you uncheck the option to install the bootloader. After that, you’ll need to configure Limine to recognize Mint. It sounds like you've got a solid plan by using CachyOS for that. Good luck!

It seems like you're already on the right track! I recommend checking the official Linux Mint documentation for any updated steps on skipping GRUB installation. Sometimes, community forums have newer tips that aren't in the main guides. It's always good to read through those before proceeding!
