I'm having a hard time getting my Android tablet to connect to my iPhone hotspot. It connects, the signal looks good, but then it shows a message saying, 'Connected to device. Can't provide internet.' I've already tried a bunch of typical solutions like reconnecting, restarting both devices, enabling 'maximize compatibility' in the hotspot settings, and even resetting the network settings on my iPhone. Unfortunately, none of these have worked so far. I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out!

If you've confirmed you have enough hotspot data and it's worked on other Android devices, I’d suggest checking your iPhone carrier settings to see if there are any restrictions on tethering. Sometimes, just updating these settings can help resolve connectivity issues.
Have you tried testing the tethering with another device? It doesn't have to be for long, just to verify if it connects. Also, has this hotspot feature ever worked for you before? Sometimes, certain providers limit tethering. Just to be safe, keep 'Maximize Compatibility' on so your hotspot is running at 2.4 GHz—some older or specific Android devices really struggle with 5 GHz hotspots. Also, make sure your tablet is connecting via Wi-Fi and not Bluetooth. Turning off Bluetooth and just using Wi-Fi can sometimes fix the issue.
It sounds frustrating! Since you mentioned trying on a different Android phone and it’s not connecting at all, that might point to an issue with the iPhone's hotspot settings. Do check if 'Maximize Compatibility' is enabled or disabled—some devices connect better one way or the other. And ensure that the tablet is definitely trying to connect via Wi-Fi alone.
