Need Help Building a Gaming PC

Hey everyone! I'm excited to build my own gaming PC but I'm not very tech-savvy and could use some guidance. I mainly enjoy simulation games like Cities: Skylines 2 and Anno, as well as single-player adventures like Ghost of Yōtei and God of War. Additionally, I'll use this PC for schoolwork, particularly with programs like Excel and PowerPoint.

Here's the build I'm considering:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D (4.7 GHz, boost up to 5.6 GHz)
- **Motherboard:** ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS WIFI
- **CPU Cooler:** Corsair NAUTILUS 360 RS (since my first choice is out of stock)
- **RAM:** Kingston FURY 64GB DDR5-6000 (2x32GB)
- **GPU:** ASUS PRIME Radeon RX 9070 XT OC
- **SSD:** Lexar NM790 2TB
- **Case:** NZXT H7 Flow (2024)
- **Case Fan:** ARCTIC P12 Pro
- **PSU:** MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 II, 850W modular

The total comes to about €2,950, which is just under my €3,000 budget. I really want this PC to be future-proof so I won't need to make major upgrades for the next couple of years. Thanks for any help you can offer!

This PC is a powerhouse! Just a heads-up, you might want to switch to a B850 motherboard that supports WiFi 7. Also, don’t forget to consider how much you’re investing in peripherals like a good monitor, keyboard, and sound setup. Sometimes those can enhance your experience even more than having the latest GPU. Enjoy your gaming!

Good point! I didn't realize I should post in English here. I do have funds from my company for a home office setup, so I already have a nice gaming monitor and keyboard.

Your build looks great overall! I would suggest two changes, though. The RAM seems a bit excessive unless you plan on doing more intensive tasks aside from basic schoolwork. You might also want to opt for a B850 motherboard for better CPU support. Enjoy your new PC!

Thanks for the input! I'm leaning towards using a lot of mods for my simulation games, and that’s what Google suggested for RAM. I’ll definitely upgrade the motherboard!
