How Can I Transition into a DevOps Career?

Asked By TechieNinja99 On

I'm an Electronics and Communication engineer with four years of experience in business development and sales. Lately, I've become really interested in DevOps and I'm exploring the possibility of making a career switch. What are my chances of landing an entry-level role in DevOps, particularly in India or the Middle East? I'm considering taking an online course in DevOps; would that be a wise decision? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Your chances of breaking into entry-level DevOps roles are quite slim, especially if you're transitioning from a completely different field without any technical background. It's a challenging job market right now, and many companies look for candidates who have prior experience in related fields like system administration or software engineering. You might want to think about gaining more hands-on experience before jumping in.
