I'm having trouble with video drivers crashing during large Microsoft Teams meetings (100+ participants) on our HP 255 G8 laptops that use AMD graphics. While the audio continues without any issues, the screen goes completely black. We've already ensured that the Teams app is updated and tried the latest drivers available from the HP website. I also experimented with turning hardware acceleration on and off, but nothing seems to work. I'm reaching out to see if anyone has other suggestions for fixes or troubleshooting steps that could help resolve this problem.

One thing you could try is to completely remove the current drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and then install the latest drivers directly from AMD’s website. Sometimes drivers from the manufacturer can have issues that the official ones don’t.

We've actually done that step already, but it seems like the most recent driver for the Vega 8 chip is still the 2023 version. It didn't resolve the issue.
