Help! My PC Won’t Power On Properly

I've been having some issues with my PC lately. Every night, I power it off completely because the LEDs keep shining even when the computer is off. But when I pressed the power button the other morning, it only lit up for a second or two before turning off again. Strangely, it worked for a bit after that, but then it messed up again after I came home from work. Any ideas on what's going on?

It sounds like there might be a power issue or a problem with the motherboard. What kind of motherboard are you using? This can help narrow down the problem. Also, do you notice any specific blinking or sound patterns when you try to start it? That info is crucial.

I'm curious about the LEDs that stay on after power off. Is this a laptop or desktop? Typically desktops might have RGB fans or GPU indicators that stay lit. If your brother's similar PC doesn’t have the same LED behavior, maybe it's a setting or a defect in your model. Have you checked if anything odd is showing in the BIOS?

It’s weird for a computer to keep showing lights when it’s off. You might want to check the power supply as well. If it’s malfunctioning, it could cause startup issues, too. You mentioned that your PC turns off quickly after pressing the button. How does it respond after that? Does it stay off, or can you turn it back on after a while?
