I'm having some issues with Windows Update and the Microsoft Store. Every time I try to install updates, I keep getting an error that says there were problems installing updates and they'll try again later (error code 0x80070005). This all started because I haven't been able to update WhatsApp through the Microsoft Store for several days. The Store is telling me there's a problem with the Windows Update service and I need to start it to try again. Honestly, I don't want to update my Windows 11 since it's working perfectly fine otherwise. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you checked if the Windows Update service is actually running? You can do this by going to 'Services' in your system. If it’s not running, try to restart it. Sometimes a simple restart can work wonders!
I tried that, but when I attempted to start the Windows Update service, it just wouldn't respond at all. Not sure what to do next.
