Which Linux Distribution Is Best for Transitioning from Windows 11?

I'm considering moving from Windows 11 to a Linux distribution because my Dell Latitude 7300 isn't performing well with the latest Windows update. Here are my specs: Intel Core i7-8665U vPro, UHD 620 graphics, 24GB DDR4 RAM (16+8), and a 768GB dual NVMe setup. While I appreciated the customizability and features of Windows 11, it's been slowed down by bloatware and high CPU usage. Can anyone recommend a Linux distro that offers a similar or intuitive user experience?

I'd recommend looking into Zorin, AnduinOS, Mint, or MX Linux. They are popular among users transitioning from Windows and have interfaces similar to Windows 10 and 11.

I suggest trying Fedora with the KDE desktop environment. It’s intuitive and offers a great deal of customization right out of the box.

Check out Zorin first; it’s designed to be the most Windows-like and often a better experience. If that doesn’t work for you, Mint is another excellent choice—it's user-friendly and has easy solutions for most issues.

Honestly, any major Linux distribution should work fine on your laptop. Given your specs, you shouldn't have issues with most of them.

You might also want to try MX Linux and Fedora with KDE Plasma. They’re all solid choices and should serve you well for your needs.
