I'm having trouble with my laptop connecting to the internet. I've tried releasing and renewing the IP address using the command 'ipconfig /release' and 'ipconfig /renew', but I got an error saying 'The operation failed as no adaptor is in the state permissible for this operation.' I'm trying to connect to WiFi, but it's just not working. I really need help getting this fixed!

Sounds frustrating! Since you're using a Dell Inspiron 15 3520 from 2022 and you've tried a bunch of things without success, here are a couple more steps to try: You might want to check if your network drivers are up to date from the Dell website, but if that doesn't work, consider doing a network reset through your settings. Just remember to back up any saved WiFi passwords before you reset! Let us know if you have any questions about the process.

It looks like you've tried quite a few troubleshooting steps already. Have you checked if the WiFi is toggled on or off physically? Sometimes there's a switch on laptops that can accidentally get flipped. If everything seems alright there, you might try creating a new network connection or even resetting your router, as odd as it sounds. Keep us posted!
