Hey everyone! I've spent the last few days researching a new PC build, and now I'm at the point of needing a case. I'm primarily looking for an all-black case without RGB lighting. I've read that I should be looking at either a mid-tower (ATX-Medium) or full tower (ATX-Full), but I'm a bit unsure about which size I actually need. My PC will be sitting on the floor, and I keep things pretty clean, so dust isn't a huge worry. I already have the monitor (360hz), keyboard, mouse, and storage sorted out. If there's anything crucial I might be missing from my build, please let me know! I've linked to the PC build I'm considering as well. Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend!

Check out this video that explains PC case sizes in detail. It might help clarify your options a bit more! [PC Case Sizes Explained](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhy4KrcbcQA)
You might want to look at the Lian Li Vector V100R Black. It’s got four pre-installed fans that can turn off the RGB through software if you want. Plus, it’s affordable at around $70 and fits ATX motherboards.
If you want more black and a compact form factor, I’ve put together a build that might interest you: [Link to my adjusted build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PwTLrG). Check it out!
A typical mid-tower case should work well for you. If you prefer something bigger, a full tower is fine too! Just make sure to choose a case that has good airflow, like one with a mesh front or side intake if you want an open look. And about the thermal paste, the one that comes with your CPU cooler should be sufficient!
Are you only looking to avoid RGB, or do you also want to skip the glass side panel?
To save some cash, consider switching to a B650 motherboard. The MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi is a solid option and should do the job without breaking the bank. I use it with a Ryzen 9 and an RTX 5070 Ti and it works great!

I’m fine with a glass side panel; it actually helps for checking up on things without taking everything apart! I’ve seen some recommendations and I'm leaning towards the Fractal Design Meshify 3 now, but I'm worried about whether my GPU will fit because of the 349mm max length. I’ll also check out the NZXT H7 Flow.
