Why can’t I get sound on certain adult sites on my Galaxy Tab S9 FE+?

I'm having a frustrating issue with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ where I can't get any sound on adult sites like PornHub and YouPorn while using Chrome. My Android is fully updated. I've tried disabling my ad-blocker and DNS filter, and I'm not using Dex mode or having Do Not Disturb or Night Mode on. I checked that sound isn't blocked in Chrome's settings, but still no luck. I've tested using Bluetooth headphones and the device's regular speakers with the same result. Interestingly, other sites like YouTube have sound, but not these adult sites. I even tried using Brave and Firefox, but the sound only worked on Firefox after clearing the cache and hitting a prompt to unmute, which hasn't persisted. I'm looking for help to fix this on either Brave or Chrome before a planned session this evening!

Have you checked if you’re connected to a family TV or if Bluetooth is still connected? Sometimes disconnecting Bluetooth devices can solve the issue. Just a thought!

Haha, true! Disconnecting things can often work miracles.

Are you using corporate Wi-Fi? If so, it might be worth trying a VPN to see if a firewall is blocking that content. Even though it's something you might not want to admit, it could help!

I did try it on corporate Wi-Fi both with and without a VPN, and also 5G, but no luck. Still troubleshooting!

Honestly, back in the day, we managed just fine with static images. You might not even need the sound!

True! I guess we did survive those days, but it’s nice to have options now!
