I'm in my third year of a BSIT program, but honestly, I'm struggling with programming—I don't feel confident in any language yet. A friend suggested I explore cloud computing because I have a capstone project coming up. What programming language should I learn first that will be beneficial for my future? I really want to choose wisely. Thanks for your help!

It's great that you're looking to start programming! If you enjoy working with tech and building things, think about what excites you. That way, you can find resources that align with your interests. Also, don't hesitate to dive into hands-on projects; they can greatly improve your skills!

Honestly, I'd lean towards Python or JavaScript if you're just starting. They're both user-friendly and versatile. If you're curious about how computers operate, C or C++ can be worthwhile too, but they might be more challenging at first.

I recommend checking out the TIOBE Index to see which languages are most popular right now. It's a great way to find languages that are in demand. JavaScript and Python are both smart choices—they have vast libraries and communities, making it easier to learn and find help.
