I'm about to build a new PC and wondering if I can just swap my SSD from my old computer into the new one. The SSD has Windows and all my games on it. Both PCs have NVIDIA GPUs, so I hope there won't be too many issues. Is there anything particular I should know about this process?

You might run into some trouble, but it could work too. Windows has improved a lot with managing driver conflicts compared to the past. Personally, I always prefer doing a fresh install when changing motherboards, but everyone's experiences differ.
It's usually fine to try, but I’d recommend going for a fresh start if you can. There’s no downside to attempting it first though! Just keep in mind that you might face some issues if the drive is encrypted.
If everything's good with your Windows account and you're able to log in, you should be fine with the old SSD. Just be cautious about how different your new specs are; while the GPU is important, the CPU and motherboard also matter. I think fresh installs are the way to go for a hassle-free experience, though!
