I'm searching for a free backup tool for Windows 11 that can create a complete system image. I need a solution that captures my entire computer's state, including the operating system, installed applications, system settings, and personal files. Ideally, I want to create a backup now and later restore everything exactly as it was at that time, as if I took a full snapshot. Any suggestions for a reliable, no-cost option?

You can use the built-in Windows feature: just head to Control Panel, navigate to System and Security, and select Backup and Restore (Windows 7). It's simple and works well for what you need!
Clonezilla is also a solid choice! You can run it from a live USB, and it does a good job of capturing your system state.
Veeam is a great option! It’s free for endpoint backup and really reliable, whether it’s for personal or professional use. I've trusted their personal version for over a decade and found the restore process easy.
That’s good to hear! Just a heads-up though – I’ve had backup ISOs that didn’t work when I needed them, so testing your backup process is key.
Totally seconding this! I’ve even used this tool to move entire servers by saving a full image and restoring it on new hardware using WinPE. It works like a charm!
