How Low Can SSD Health Go Before It Becomes a Problem?

I'm wondering at what percentage SSD health starts to become concerning. Mine is sitting at 97% after about a year and a half of use. I try to keep some space free, but as a gamer, I often find myself using my 1TB (which is actually around 930GB) pretty fully. I'm currently debating whether leaving 40GB free is sufficient or if I should aim for 100GB. Any advice? The model I have is a Micron-2400MTF.

SSDs can monitor the wear on their cells, so you can actually push them pretty low before they become unreliable—down to read-only mode, essentially. It’s best to avoid keeping the same data for too long and to move stuff around. If you're installing a new game, do that first before deleting the old one to utilize unused cells effectively.

Totally, I think most data will stay static, especially with mods and offline games.
