I'm having an issue with my new gaming PC. When I power it on for the first time, everything lights up and the fans run, but the orange RAM indicator stays lit solidly. I tried holding down the power button to shut it down, but that didn't work, so I had to cut the power directly. After waiting for about 5 minutes and turning it back on, everything started up fine without any warning lights.
I've swapped around the RAM sticks, cleaned them, and put them back in, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. The only solution I've found is to turn off the power for those 5 minutes. Could this be a power supply issue? I'm really at a loss and it's driving me crazy.

Do you have any RGB control software running? I had a similar issue where my setup acted up until I closed the RGB software before a restart. It might be worth a shot to see if that’s affecting your boot.
It sounds like you're looking at a potential RAM issue. The orange DRAM LED usually indicates faulty RAM sticks. You could try booting with just one RAM stick in the second slot to see if that helps. Assuming you have two sticks, test them one by one; if one works and the other doesn’t, then you've likely got a bad stick. If you have access to some known-good RAM, that would be a great way to test things too. Just remember, if you try a good set of RAM and still can't boot, it might not just be the RAM causing the issue.
That's interesting, but if the RAM is truly faulty, I wouldn't expect the PC to turn on even if you cut power for 5 minutes. My guess is there might be another underlying issue. Have you tried checking the connections of everything else?
