What Are These Random Ads on My PC and How Can I Get Rid of Them?

I've been dealing with random ads popping up on my PC for a few months now, and I can't figure out where they're coming from. They last just a few seconds and pop up every 5 minutes or so. I managed to catch a glimpse of them by pressing Alt + Tab, but they aren't showing up in the Task Manager. I'm starting to think this might be malware. The logo I've seen is a hollow square containing three blocks: a small red square on the left, a larger yellow one in the top right, and a medium blue one in the bottom left, all connected within the square. Does anyone know how to identify and get rid of this?

You might want to check out Sysinternals' Process Explorer. Open the ad, then with Process Explorer running, drag the target at the top of the window over the ad. This should highlight the process controlling the ad, making it easier to identify and deal with it.

It’d help to know how the ads appear. Are they like video overlays, or do they pop out in the middle of your screen? If they are small windows on the side, you may have accidentally allowed notifications from a sketchy website. Check your browser settings, look under notifications, and remove any that seem suspicious or you don't recognize.

They are actually videos, but I can only hear them; I can't see them.

Here’s what the logo looks like [link to image]. Let me know if that helps!
