I've been experiencing some technical issues lately with various things, like YouTube not working and my 3D printer acting up. I checked to see if AWS was having problems, and it seems I'm not alone in this. Can anyone share insights on what's happening or how serious this issue might be?

Just a heads up, YouTube actually isn't hosted on AWS but rather owned by Google, so the two aren't directly related. It might be something local affecting your connection instead.
Keep in mind that checking DownDetector for AWS issues is mostly hit or miss. It can be unreliable most of the time when it comes to actual status.
YouTube seems to be back up now, give it another try and see if it's working for you again!
My AWS services are running fine but one of my Heroku apps went down during a platform restart. Seems like each service can have its own quirks.
Losing power can definitely mess things up! I had a service go down temporarily due to some random reboot, but it's all good now.

That’s good to know! I was really worried about a bigger crash.
