Trouble Updating BIOS on GIGABYTE Motherboard

Hey everyone, I'm trying to update the BIOS on my GIGABYTE B760 GAMING X motherboard using the Q-Flash feature. However, I keep encountering this message that sends me back to the BIOS menu:

"Checking Media Presence....
Media Present..
Start PXE over IPv4 on MAC: 74-56-3C-E2-1D-36. Press ESC key to abort PXE boot.
PXE-E16: No valid offer received."

I'm not sure what this means or how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated!

It sounds like your system is trying to boot from the network instead of the BIOS update media. Make sure you have the correct USB drive plugged in and that it's formatted properly with the BIOS file on it. You should also check if the USB drive is set as the primary boot device in the BIOS settings. That should help you initiate the Q-Flash successfully!

Thanks for the tip! I had the same issue and switching the boot order fixed it for me.

Don’t forget to double-check that the BIOS version you are trying to flash is compatible with your motherboard. If it's an older version, that might cause problems too. You can usually find this info on the GIGABYTE website.
