I've built my own PC about a year ago, and it's running on a Q6600 processor with a GTX 550 Ti graphics card, 8GB of DDR3 1066MHz RAM, and an Aerocool Templarius 550W 80 Plus Bronze power supply. I managed to assemble all of that with my birthday money and some work earnings, totaling around €50. Recently, I picked up a combo deal for a motherboard, an i3-6100 processor, and 8GB of DDR4 RAM for just €30. I plan to upgrade my CPU later to a 7th generation i5 or i7, and upgrade my GPU afterward. I wanted to know if the price I paid for this combo is a good deal. Thanks!

The i3-6100 is definitely a solid upgrade from your current setup. Plus, if you plan to go for a 7th gen i5 or i7 later, it's a smart move. If you can stretch your budget a bit more, consider a 10th-gen board since the i7-7700, which is good, can be found at entry-level prices—sometimes under $50! Just something to keep in mind for future upgrades.

I get what you're saying, but RAM is a big issue right now; most bundles are without it. I'm sticking with my current setup until the RAM prices go down so I can upgrade to 16GB.
