Why do I keep struggling with Linux every time I try to use it?

I've recently installed Debian and spent the last five hours trying to set up Pi-hole with Cloudflared. I keep running into frustrating errors, and after bouncing between different resources, I just feel mentally drained. Although Debian KDE is an improvement compared to my previous experiences, it still feels like a massive time sink for me.

Linux really is a balancing act between having the freedom to customize and the hand-holding some users prefer from other OSs. If you’re consistently having issues and it's pushing you away, it might just mean that the freedom and flexibility of Linux isn't your top priority. There's nothing wrong with that!

It sounds like you're finding Linux to be more of a hassle than a help right now. It's totally okay to stick with what works for you! Not everyone finds Linux to be the right fit, especially if you're looking for a smoother, less hands-on experience.

Linux tends to be for people who enjoy taking charge of their systems, unlike Windows which does a lot for you but can come with its own set of restrictions. If you're having trouble, just remember that some people find joy in the responsibility Linux gives them, while others feel overwhelmed by it.

I've done my research, followed guides, and even sought help from LLMs, but I keep hitting new errors. I know the commands now, but I still can't get `dpkg` to install without issues.
