I have a Ryzen 5 9600X, and I've noticed that my CPU temperature can reach as high as 89–90°C during game loading screens or shader compilations. For instance, this happens when I play High on Life 2. Is this temperature range normal for AMD processors, or should I consider adjusting my settings? I'm also looking for recommendations on overclocking this CPU to achieve lower temperatures while enhancing performance. Coming from Intel CPUs, this is quite new for me!

Shader compilation can really work your CPU hard; unfortunately, there isn't much you can do to lower the temperatures during that phase.
Shader compilation is one of the toughest workloads for a CPU. Your temps are normal, and they can handle that heat. If you're looking to lower temps, try adjusting your fan curves, or you could try undervolting.
Yeah, I use a 240MM AIO on my setup, and it still hits the high 80s during shader compiling. It seems pretty normal for these processors. If you want better temps, consider undervolting using the curve optimizer.
The max operating temperature for the Ryzen is 95°C, and it's designed to boost performance until it hits that limit. What CPU cooler are you using? I expected it to run cooler than that.
Those temperatures are actually typical for Ryzen CPUs. They tend to run a bit hot, but if you're staying below 95°C, you're in the safe zone. However, if you're using a stock cooler or running it in 105W mode, that could explain the high temps.
