I'm really at my wit's end here with Windows. I need it to function for a little longer, but I've been dealing with a nightmare since the latest Security Update KB5074109 (26100.7623) on Windows 11 24H2. This update has caused my system to experience black screens and boot failures, plus it's sent me to repair screens and messed with my video output. Sometimes it makes it past the POST, but then Windows just won't boot up. I can't even uninstall the update, and I actually need my PC to work before I make the jump to something else. Does anyone know if the newer updates fix these issues, or is there a way to remove this problematic security update?

Just a heads-up, if you're looking into any BIOS changes or disk setups, be careful as those can risk your data. Always have backups ready before making any major tweaks.
You might want to consider upgrading your system to 25H2. It could potentially solve the problem you're experiencing with the current update.
You're definitely not alone in this. Try manually installing KB5077744 to see if that helps, as outlined in a guide I found. Back up your data first, just to be safe!
