Hey everyone! My PC is nearing its third birthday, and I'm starting to feel it when playing newer single-player games. Right now, I'm rocking a Ryzen 3600 CPU, a 3070 Ti GPU, and 16GB of RAM. I'm gaming at 1440p with a 144Hz refresh rate, and I'm wondering if I should upgrade just the CPU to something like a Ryzen 5600, or if it's better to also upgrade my GPU. Any advice on what the best route would be?

If you can afford it, the 5700X would give you better performance thanks to its extra cores. If you're on a tighter budget and looking at the 5600 non-X, that's fine for some cost savings, but make sure your RAM is at least DDR4 3600. Having lower speed RAM can hurt your CPU's performance significantly.
Also, keep an eye on upgrading your GPU if you want a noticeable improvement. The 3080 is a great option these days and can be found for pretty cheap, especially if you shop around!
