How Can I Store Movies for Air Travel?

I have a lot of movies on Amazon Prime, and I'm looking for a way to store them so I can watch them during flights, especially when I won't have internet access. I'm aware that I probably can't download the movies directly from the Amazon app to another storage device due to content protection. What options do I have for storing movies on my phone or another device for offline viewing?

If you have a laptop, you could use that as your video source for the plane. Make sure to download any movies beforehand and manage your storage effectively if you plan on bringing additional files.

Keep in mind that you don't actually own the movies on Amazon; you're more or less renting them. You have the rights to watch them as long as they are available through Prime.

I suggest downloading the movies onto your device through the Prime Video app before your flight. Additionally, if your device permits it, you could consider saving movies onto a thumb drive. Just make sure your device can read it while you’re in the air.

You can download movies directly onto your device using the Amazon Video app, but remember these downloads are protected by DRM, so you can't transfer them to another storage device. Just keep an eye on your device's storage space to make sure you have enough room for several films.
