I have a work laptop that I access throughout the day using Remote Desktop from my Mac, which allows me to switch back and forth easily with my Magic Mouse. This setup has been great for me, as I dislike juggling multiple devices. However, my company's VPN requires me to use No Split Tunnels for Azure access, which prevents me from using Remote Desktop to connect to my laptop. Previously, I tried an IP KVM, but it was laggy and limited to 1080p. I asked IT to enable local LAN access on AnyConnect, but they said it compromises the NST setup. I'm looking for effective alternatives to control my laptop with low latency like Remote Desktop, and I'm willing to run dedicated wires if necessary.

Using a virtual machine could be a good workaround. We did this in a previous job when we had issues with multiple VPN clients. It avoids some of the connectivity problems!
If you have admin access to your laptop, the IPKVM could still be a viable option. There are better models out there that could handle continuous use, but you might need to shop around.
Well, with a No Split Tunnel VPN, your options are quite limited. That’s the nature of this type of VPN.
Have you considered adding a second network card to your Mac? If it's connected to your LAN, it might help you bypass some of the VPN restrictions. Just a thought!
Unfortunately, the VPN client directs all traffic through the VPN adapter, so that wouldn't work.
