I recently built a new computer that includes a Ryzen 7800X3D processor, which came bundled with a motherboard, RAM, and a cooler. However, I'm noticing that it has started lagging significantly. I ran a stress test, and the CPU temperature reached around 80°C. I'm confused because I have a Be Quiet Dark Rock 5 cooler installed, so I expected better temperatures under load. This lag happens not just during gaming but even while browsing images or shopping online. Is my CPU overheating when it shouldn't be?

Yeah, 80°C is pretty standard, especially on stress tests. But if you're feeling lag while just browsing, you might want to check for background processes or apps that could be slowing things down. Sometimes, it’s not just about CPU temp—other factors could be in play. Have you tried looking at your RAM usage? That could also be contributing to the lag.
80°C during a stress test isn't necessarily a problem. That's pretty typical for a CPU under load. Most CPUs can handle temperatures up to around 95°C without any issues. If you're experiencing lag, it might not just be a temperature issue. Are you noticing those high temps only during stress testing, or is that the same when you're just browsing? Check your task manager to see if any processes are using excessive CPU and causing the lag.
I'm not seeing anything overly hot. Right now, my GPU is at 53°C and nothing is using significant percentages—Chrome just seems to love taking up memory. Yet, it still lags as much as when I stress tested it and got hotter.

I checked and RAM is fine, nothing's maxed out. It’s just frustrating because the performance feels choppy even without overheating.
