I'm trying to switch my laptop from Windows to Linux, but I'm having trouble connecting to a WPA2 Enterprise WiFi network. I was able to connect without any issues on my ThinkPad T480 running Linux Mint with the Cinnamon desktop environment. However, I can't seem to connect on my Framework 16 laptop that uses Bazzite and GNOME. The connection just keeps showing a loading icon.
The network requires a username and password, and I've managed to connect using my Samsung device by selecting "don't use CA cert." This method worked fine for my ThinkPad as well, but it's not doing the trick on my Framework laptop. I've spent hours researching potential solutions but haven't found anything that helps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm planning to test this on several distros, including Mint, Cachy OS, Fedora, and Pop!_OS. Once I run those tests, I’ll update you on how it goes. Maybe that will shed some light on the issue!
Are you using nm-applet? That's what I found works best for connecting to campus WiFi networks. It might help with the WPA2 Enterprise setup you're dealing with. Give it a shot!

I haven't tried nm-applet yet. I used the default settings app on GNOME, but I'll look into that. Thanks for the tip!
