How Long Does It Take for a Cancelled Express Replacement to Reflect?

I broke my iPhone and requested an express replacement. After a couple of days, I decided to cancel it and go directly to the store for repairs instead. I called Apple and they confirmed the cancellation, but on my end, it still shows as 'in progress.' How long should it take for it to update and show as cancelled so I can visit the store?

You should be fine to head into the store even if you still see the replacement order. Just make sure it hasn’t been shipped or billed yet. Usually, if the damage isn’t severe, they'll repair your phone rather than replace it, unless it’s liquid damage or something really bad.

I've read that for repairs to be done in-store, the express replacement does need to be cancelled first. It’s best to confirm with the store before heading in.

It's hard to say for sure, but you might want to reach out to Apple support again for clarification. Sometimes these things can take a little while to reflect properly.
