I'm new to building PCs and have only owned a gaming laptop in the past. Currently, I have a PS5 and an Xbox Series X, but I'm selling the Xbox to fund my new gaming PC. I plan to keep playing single-player games like Resident Evil and Cyberpunk on the PS5, while using the PC for exclusive titles like "RV There Yet" and "Sons of the Forest." Additionally, I want to heavily mod Bethesda games. I'm aiming to spend around $2000 on the PC itself, excluding the monitor, mouse, and keyboard. Is this budget feasible?

No way this is ragebait! You can definitely build a great gaming PC for $2k. You’ll have powerful specs and can really customize it.
You can definitely get fantastic specs with your budget! Just for the monitor, I’d suggest going for a 27-inch 1440p at 240Hz if you’re into accurate colors and deep blacks.
For the keyboard and mouse, I guess I can go cheaper as long as they connect via USB.
Absolutely, just keep an eye out for deals! You might score a used graphics card for cheap and bundle components to save money. Check out the tier lists online for good PSU options!
With your goals, $2000 is more than enough. You can get some really solid components for that price!
I thought it might just barely cover it. Should I look at used parts on marketplace?
The games you want to play aren’t super demanding, so with $2000, you can build something way better than a PS5 Pro!
I thought I needed a monster rig for modding things like Bethesda games.

I’m pretty clueless about PCs. I heard people saying that modding games like Fallout 4 needs a lot more power.
