I'm trying to decide between Scrimba and freeCodeCamp for learning JavaScript, React, and Node.js. For those who've used them, which platform do you think is a better fit? Looking for insights on their teaching styles, project work, and overall effectiveness for a beginner to intermediate learner.

FreeCodeCamp is solid if you want a well-structured approach to learning. It offers a comprehensive path with projects that build on each other. On the other hand, Scrimba is fantastic for those who enjoy interactive video tutorials where you can code right in the browser as you watch. I'd say choose based on whether you learn better through projects and reading (freeCodeCamp) or through watching and coding along (Scrimba).
I've tried both platforms. I personally preferred Scrimba because of the interactive nature of their video lessons. I tend to get more out of it than I do from text-based platforms like freeCodeCamp. Plus, Scrimba is partnered with freeCodeCamp, so you’re actually learning a lot of the same content, just in a more engaging format.
I never used either service, but I think just diving into a small app project might be a great way to start. No need to be locked into one program when you can learn through actual development!

I totally get that! The projects in freeCodeCamp can be tricky, with unclear requirements on things they haven't taught yet. Some of them can feel super boring too.
