I've been learning web development for a while and just completed Brad Traversy's Express Crash Course, going through everything step by step. I understood it well, but I'm wondering what to do next. I'm aiming to land a junior developer job soon, but I'm unsure of what skills or projects I should focus on to be job-ready. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You should build a full stack project that includes user authentication, CRUD operations, and a database. Once you've done that a couple of times, start applying for jobs like crazy. The market might be tough, but practice is key!

Focus on creating your own apps! Make them related to your hobbies or daily tasks – it’ll make your portfolio stand out much more than just generic projects. Plus, check out local job listings to see what employers are looking for; you might have some gaps to fill before you're ready.

Working on projects that are actually useful is the way to go. Build things that are useful for you or interesting to your friends. This kind of portfolio will be much more appealing than random projects. And don't forget, it's okay to take a look at job offers to refine your skills based on the requirements listed!
