I've been dealing with a frustrating problem: my computer unexpectedly shuts off at least once a day without any warning. There's no blue screen or crash report, it just turns off completely, and I have to press the power button to restart it. It's a Windows system, if that matters. I've already run a memory test that didn't show any issues, and since I'm not using heavy programs, overheating seems unlikely. I have plenty of fans that are working well, so I'm curious if anyone has suggestions on what else I might check or ways to narrow down this problem. Thanks!

Have you tried swapping your power supply? A failing PSU can definitely lead to random shutdowns. I went through something similar a few years back and found that my CPU overclock settings had become unstable. I had to slightly increase the voltage to stabilize it, but trying a different PSU is a great first step and pretty easy to do!
You might want to check if you can access the dump files for more insight into the issue. If you log into Windows normally or via Safe Mode, look in C:WindowsMinidump for any dump files. If there are any, zip that folder and upload it to a file-sharing site to get help. It's useful to have multiple files for a better analysis. Also, you could change the dump type in the settings to collect more information if you haven't already. Good luck!

I actually tried using a second PSU already, but the problem still occurred.
