I'm in high school and eager to start learning programming. What programming language would be best for a beginner like me, keeping in mind I want something practical and easy to learn? Also, any tips on how I can learn effectively and make progress quickly would be really helpful!

JavaScript is also a great option! It's widely used and can really open up a lot of opportunities for you in web development.

But isn't Python actually more popular right now?

Yeah, but JavaScript has great applications too. Both are worth considering!

If you're looking for something straightforward, consider starting with Python or Lua. You can start with simple projects like a random number generator or even a text-based adventure game. Once you’re comfortable, you can dive into graphics and more advanced projects, potentially with C++ later on.
