I just built my first gaming PC and I'm looking for advice on which components to upgrade first. I want to eventually move to a higher-end setup, but with GPU prices being so high right now, I'm not jumping straight to something like a 5090. Could you help me identify the weakest part of my current setup and suggest what to focus on upgrading first? Here are my specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
- GPU: Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti 16GB
- Motherboard: ASUS TUF B650e WIFI
- RAM: Kingston Fury Beast 2x16GB DDR5 CL36
- Storage: 1TB Gen4 NVMe
- CPU Cooler: 120mm Tower Cooler single fan
- PSU: 550W Corsair
Thanks in advance!

I don't think you need to upgrade anything right now unless you're not getting the performance you want. Just keep an eye on upgrades and take your time to improve it bit by bit.
Definitely upgrade the PSU first, then focus on the CPU. You're in a good spot right now, but if you plan on upgrading your GPU in the future, you'll need a more powerful PSU to handle it.
You might want to start by upgrading your PSU to at least a 650-750W Gold-rated unit. After that, consider a CPU upgrade, especially if you're aiming for 1080p gaming; a Ryzen 7 7700X or 9700X would be a solid choice. Eventually, you could aim for the 7800X3D or 9800X3D for the best performance with your motherboard.
