Troubleshooting VGA Light Issues on Two Motherboards

I've been dealing with a persistent VGA issue for almost two years now. It started with my first motherboard where I tried new HDMI cables, a different GPU, and even single RAM sticks, but the problem kept coming back even after unplugging it for a long time. I eventually got a new motherboard, and it worked fine for about 1.5 years, but the issue has resurfaced. Now, I'm getting a white VGA light, along with 1 long beep and 2 short beeps, which indicates that the system isn't passing POST and there's no display. My specs are: previous motherboard - Asus Strix E Gaming X570, current motherboard - MSI B550 A Pro, CPU - Ryzen 5800X, PSU - Corsair RM750, GPU - RTX 4070, and a Corsair H150 cooler. I'm unsure if the problem lies with the CPU or the PSU, and I could really use some advice!

It sounds like a tough situation! First, double-check that you're using the right motherboard standoffs to avoid any shorts. Could you also share if you've tested any of your components in a different build? Sometimes physical damage can happen if you’re not careful with the GPU or other components, too. Also, keep in mind that the VGA light can sometimes indicate issues with M.2 drives or other PCIe devices. Make sure everything is connected properly and try reseating your components.

Yeah, I feel your pain. It's odd how these issues pop up out of nowhere. Before going deeper, confirm if your M.2 drive is securely in place and check the connections. Since you’ve tested components before, that can rule out some stuff. If you haven't already, test without any storage drives attached again, just in case! It's crucial to ensure nothing is affecting the PCB.
