Questions After Installing Linux Mint

I just switched from Windows 11 to Linux Mint and had a minor hiccup, which I'll detail below. I have a few random questions I hope someone can help with:

1) I didn't sign out of my Outlook account before leaving Windows (it was just for Windows, not email). Should I log in just to close the account or is there no need?

2) Are there any keyboard shortcuts in Mint? If so, where can I find a complete list of them?

3) As a former Windows user, where can I find apps to replace the ones I used before? What's the best store or platform for looking them up?

Thanks in advance! By the way, I had an issue with Grub failing during installation. When I checked in the morning, I found it stuck at a Grub prompt on a blank screen. The fix was to reboot the computer with the USB and run the boot repair, then everything worked fine afterward.

3. For app replacements, I recommend using AlternativeTo.net to find suitable apps. Once you have the names, you can search for them in Mint's Software Manager, which is basically your app store.

Yeah, Mint's Software Manager makes it super easy to browse and install apps, and the community here can help point you to specific alternatives you might need.

1. If you’re not planning on using your Microsoft account anymore, then there’s no need to sign in. You can just let it go and forget about it.

2. By "quick keys," do you mean keyboard shortcuts? Yes, Mint has shortcuts that you can customize. You can check this info under the Keyboard settings in the application menu.
