I'm new to PCs and recently got an AOC gaming monitor that supports 260Hz. I connected it to my PC, but when I turn on both devices, the monitor displays 'No Signal.' I see five buttons at the bottom right of the screen, including the power button and an option to select between HDMI 1/2 or DisplayPort. Whenever I try to change the input, it asks if I want to proceed with a warning about power consumption, but I can't select 'Yes,' and the monitor automatically turns off. I'm not very experienced with computers, and I'd really like to be able to play some games. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?

Make sure you're connecting the cable to the right port on your PC. Generally, you should use the lowest HDMI or DisplayPort connection available. Sometimes, the ports can be color-coded or differ in their positioning on the back of the case, so double-check that you’re plugged into the intended one.
Also, do you know the model number of your monitor? It can often be found at the back. It's good to look up if others with the same model had similar issues to see if there's a specific fix.
Have you tried checking your PC specs? Sometimes, issues like this can arise if there's a problem with your computer itself and not just the monitor connection. You might want to check if any lights are lighting up on your keyboard when you press keys like Caps Lock or Num Lock—if they don't respond, it could be a sign that the PC isn't booting up properly.
