I'm searching for a communication app that caters specifically to very small teams (fewer than 5 users). I'm looking for some essential features like having both mobile and desktop apps available for Windows and MacOS, the ability to chat and make video calls, and reliable screen sharing that goes beyond low resolutions. Importantly, I want to avoid any U.S.-based options and definitely not want to use Teams or Discord. Ideally, the cost should be a maximum of $5 per user per month. Does anyone know if such an app exists?

Wimi is another option you might find useful. It seems like it might fit your requirements!
I'm excited to share something I built! It's called ateams, an AI-native messaging app that lets you communicate with both AI and humans effortlessly. It includes DMs, group chats, video calls, and has some cool AI functions for task automation. Plus, it's free to use! Check it out at joinateams.com if you're interested.
You might want to bump your budget a bit and check out Wire. It offers what you're looking for.
You could consider Element. I saw it pop up while researching self-hosting options, but I haven't tried it myself, so I can't guarantee it'll meet all your needs.
If you're tech-savvy, look into Matrix with Element as a client. It's open-source and can be self-hosted, so you get full control over it.

Thanks, I'll definitely check it out!
