I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my Lenovo Ideapad Gaming laptop. I keep getting the 0x113 video dxgkrnl fatal error while playing games, specifically when I play Tekken 8, Genshin Impact, and modded Minecraft. I've tried a lot of troubleshooting steps, including using DDU to uninstall and reinstall both AMD and NVIDIA drivers, trying different driver versions, and running the sfc /scannow command. I've also lowered my graphics settings in other games, but the error persists.

Here are some specs for context: I'm running an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card, and my memory setup includes 8GB DDR4 3200MHz along with an additional 16GB Kingston stick.

I usually encounter this issue after playing Genshin Impact for about 20-30 minutes, especially during intense battles. Currently, I have the default drivers: AMD VGA_27.20.11028.10001_ACP_2.89.064 and NVIDIA 30.0.14.7219. Any help would be really appreciated!

It’s tough when tech issues won’t go away! First off, you might want to specify what exactly ‘it’ refers to – I’m guessing it’s the fatal error, but more details could help others assist you better. Have you considered what happens before the crash? Understanding the conditions can narrow down the fix. Also, can you clarify which AMD driver versions you’ve tried? That could provide more insight! You’re not alone in this frustration, hang in there!

If your system is crashing, you might want to try undervolting your GPU to see if that helps with stability. It can reduce the power consumption and heat, which might be causing these crashes. There are several tools available for this, like MSI Afterburner. Just be careful and test the changes slowly!

How exactly do you undervolt a GPU? I’ve read about it but have no idea where to start!
